Bird boarding for Burlington bird owners
Burlington shares a corridor with our Mississauga house, so the drive is one continuous run: Lakeshore to the QEW, the 407 (tolled) and the 403, about 34 minutes without traffic, and a stop with us adds only about four minutes on the way to Pearson.

The Swans Of LaSalle
Every winter, Trumpeter Swans settle along the LaSalle Park shoreline from December to March, before flying north to nest. It is a true comeback story: in 1993 a swan named Pig Pen became the first wild Trumpeter to nest in Ontario in over 200 years.

- 2,000+in Ontario today, a population now self-sustaining
- 2023the December the swan became Burlington's official City Bird
Burlington was Canada's seventh Bird Friendly City, and it expects the same care for the bird on your perch. When you travel, yours stays with us, and the swans keep the lake company until you are back.
