How it works

  1. Pick The Plan For Your BirdNails, beak, or both, at the size your bird is. Extra-large birds such as African greys have their own plans.
  2. Subscribe On The Client PortalPay for the year in one go. Your 5 sessions are waiting in your account.
  3. Book A Session Whenever It Is DuePick a time that suits you, or ask for it during a boarding stay, when your bird is already here.

Why a plan

Why Owners Choose A Subscription

  • Keeps A ScheduleFive visits a year keeps nails and beak at a comfortable length, rather than waiting until they snag or overgrow.
  • Fits Around YouBook a session when it suits you, or have it done while your bird is boarding with us, with no extra trip.
  • Costs LessEvery plan is cheaper than booking the same visits one at a time, by up to $175 a year.
  • Better For Your BirdRegular trims keep a bird comfortable on its perch and help head off overgrown nails and beak problems.

Questions Owners Ask

What do I actually get for the year?

5 grooming sessions of whichever service the plan covers, used whenever you like across the year. They are not tied to a schedule, so you book one when your bird needs it rather than on a date somebody else picked.

How much does a subscription save me?

Between $35 and $175 a year depending on the plan, against paying for the same 5 appointments one at a time. Every plan is cheaper than the sessions in it, and the combo plans save the most.

Can I use a session while my bird is boarding with you?

Yes. A session can be used during a stay, which is when most people use them — the bird is already here, so nobody makes a separate trip.

Can I swap a nail session for a beak trim?

No. Each plan covers its own service and sessions are not exchangeable between them. If your bird needs both, the combo plan is the one that covers both — and no plan includes wing clipping or DNA sexing.

Which plan does an African grey need?

The extra-large plans. XL grooming prices apply to large birds such as African greys. We do not groom macaws or cockatoos.

What if I change my mind?

You can cancel at any time, and if the subscription is not what you wanted we refund it in full within the first 2 weeks.

Do I need a subscription to get my bird groomed?

No. One-off appointments are always available at the ordinary rate — $30 · $40 XL for a nail clip and $40 · $60 XL for a beak trim, with the second figure in each being the extra-large rate. A subscription only makes sense if your bird needs grooming several times a year.
