Bird Sitting Toronto History

Matcha was my first bird 4 years ago. She was a fiesty 2 year old budgie, but she slowly grew trust in me before she sadly passed away. She was my inspiration to continue my passion to care for birds, and ultimately start Bird Sitting Toronto

Maui was the next addition to the flock, as I felt that Matcha needed a friend. Maui was really a friendly budgie and gave me the chance to see that Matcha could bond well with other birds. She unfortunately passed shortly after Maui came, and Maui was alone for a short while before we got Mango.

Mango was a younger budgie, we got him at a few weeks old so that he could befriend Maui after Matcha left us. A very jolly, happy bird - Mango brings lots of joy to any bird he interacts with! Now Maui and Mango are completely inseparable.

Miko was our first baby Conure, and our fourth addition to our flock. We got him as a wedding gift to ourselves in May. The moment we brought him home he has bonded to us so well, he is definitely a part of our family flock. Maui and Mango both were a bit skeptical about him at first, but his curious nature and otherwise quirky personality won everyone in our flock over.
Chuchu was our first ever Bird Sitting Toronto Client and she was a delight to have in our flock for the month of October. She loves to shred paper and enjoyed her time outside the cage enjoying the CN tower views!
These two are an unstoppable pair! Pyewacket and Hedwig visited Bird Sitting Toronto for their first nail clipping and they were such a pleasure to serve. We're looking forward to welcoming them back for bird sitting!
Romeo is such a sweet, little conure! He came for his first stay with BST and has been enjoying almonds with Miko, exploring the BST space and slowly growing more curious about the BST flock! Romeo stayed for a couple nights before returning to his masters!
And so, the BST flock became 4 with the addition of Mint the Budgie! He is a rare of his kind, a spangle Budgie who knows he's so attractive because all he likes to do is sit by the mirror and chatter away to himself all day! He was rehomed to BST due to his previous cage mates not taking kindly to him, but the BST flock knows what's good! Welcome to the flock Mint!
The BST Flock became 5 with our darling little Mochi. He was brought to us the same time as Mint, as Mint was fully bonded with Mochi, and his previous owner wanted to have them together. Mochi was a spitting image of Matcha, and so it was very hard to say no. As a result, we now welcome Mochi to the BST Flock as well!
This lovely pair came all the way from Mississauga, and were brought to BST while their owner was taking a road trip! These two enjoy eating spray millet, parsley leaves and hanging out with the BST Flock! Thanks Chip and Kip for your visit to Bird Sitting Toronto!

We were happy to provide her with a full pedicure that was pain-free! We look forward to having her back again in the future!
This big boy (13 yrs old!) joins Bird Sitting Toronto for a short while until New Year's Eve! He's a chunky boy who loves to climb on top of his cage, and he's truly an escape artist! Clothing pins are our best friend at night when we want him to stay in his cage! Regardless, it's so nice to have Harold join us!
Pooh Bear joins Bird Sitting Toronto for just a few days. His owner warned me that she's a bit feisty/nippy with strangers, so we respected her space and waited patiently for her trust. It wasn't long though before she started to eagerly cuddle with us and asked for affection. We're very happy to have her here!
Buddy joins Bird Sitting Toronto as a curious fellow - he loves to jump on people's heads, and whistle song tunes all day long. He's a bit skeptical about the other birds, but has grown a liking to our returned customer, Mushu! Looking forward to welcoming more cockatiels in the future!
This pair is probably the most obedient pair of conures I have ever dealt with! Zazu (4 yrs old) and Pookie (15 yrs old) may have a huge age difference, but they synchronize like one unit! They know how to perch, go into their cage on command, and are just sweet little boys!
