Boarding a lovebird

Lovebirds are small, fast and much stronger than they look. A bonded pair stays together; a single hand-tame lovebird gets more handling, because that is the bird most likely to go quiet without its person.

Lovebirds are regulars here, and there is usually at least one other lovebird staying with us, so yours is rarely the only one of its kind.

Lovebird owners ask us

How much is lovebird boarding?

$14.75 per bird per day. Lovebirds sit in our small birds band (budgies, canaries, finches, linnies, parrotlets, lovebirds). Longer stays are charged at a lower rate per day — the discount is already factored into your quote, so there is nothing to ask for.

Will my bonded pair be separated?

No. A pair that lives together boards together, in one cage, at the additional-bird discount.

My lovebird bites. Will that be a problem?

It is normal and it is expected. We do not need to handle a bird to look after it well, and nobody here will force it.

Have you looked after many lovebirds?

Yes. Lovebirds are regulars here, and there is usually at least one other lovebird staying with us, so yours is rarely the only one of its kind.
